FAQHow long have you been drawing for?
I enjoyed art as a kid, but only began getting more serious around the start of uni (2017!). It's been a really long journey but I've realised that art is something I want to keep in my life :)
Any tips for beginner artists?
I have so much to say x - x;; might make a video someday BUT for now:
Draw what you enjoy! The only way to get better is to keep practising. And what better way is there to practice more by drawing things you like?Saying that, comparison really is the thief of joy. Try to keep off social media and just focus on the drawing.I found a structured approach helpful and would recommend Draw A Box to improve your dexterity/get used to breaking things down into shapes and Thomas Fluharty's Schoolism course as an introduction to fundamentals. Not sponsored- just found these to be really solid! What do you use?
Paint tool sai, now mainly procreate.

Here's my personal blog. Super loose for now but I'll upload notes someday xD
